Why do you want to have a smaller > floppy image size? I have not checked the code recently, so maybe it is already there. But I can see why Ken might want to do this. This way he can make sure that he only uses as much memory as he has to. How about installing a ramdisk that occupies a user-specified amount of disk space, but when DOS inquires about the size it will always be told that this is a 1.44MB disk. All the extra (non-existent) sectors could be marked as bad blocks in the FAT.
