And now guess the host name... ;-)) OK, as this problem might be of general interest: at least 3Com and SMC distribute all their drivers in one big compressed file for each network card. The drivers file for the 3C59X is more than one megabyte in size, if I remenber correctly, while the packet driver is just one little piece of the whole file. Where the driver archive is you have to find out your- self (I don't remember the path names on the servers). Regarding the addresses: FTP HTTP-URL SMC ftp.smc.com http://www.smc.com 3Com ftp.3com.com http://www.3com.com Got the idea?
