What is the problem? I would rather be interested to know more about why this vendor provided packet driver doesn't work. Usually those vendor- provided drivers work much better than the Crynwr drivers. > Will Netboot be able to use these settings especially the high > i/o base address? Netboot will, but I'm not sure about the Crynwr packet driver. Simply try it using a floppy boot. But I think it _should_ be able to use the high address as well. You can also try it by booting DOS on your client system and install the Crynwr packet driver there. If it works (you can tell from the messages printed by the driver), you can use the exact same command line parameters for netboot. > At the ISA card, i would normally set the kernel > base addres to C800:0000H, but in PCI, again due to the nature > of plug-n-play, the code base address isn't really configurable. This doesn't matter at all. The bootrom can be placed at any address you want as long as there is no address conflict in the system. gero. -- I do not fear computers...
