Hi guys, I burned the freebsd 16k rom binary into the chip and run rom-scan, surprisingly rom-scan will detect nothing. Have you guys tried successfully either netboot ne2000 rom or the freebsd ne2000 rom by burning it into a EPROM on NIC. My origial EPROM chip is bought from Novell, whitch has netware's RPL binary in there. I erased it and burned in netboot binary. The original Novell RPL EPROM is seen by my PC, since I burned in other roms, PC just don't see any thing. Maybe I should keep a copy of the erased Novell RPL binary.
