There are I think a couple of DHCPDs which were written from scratch
rather than adapting the CMU bootpd. The pointers to those should
be in the DHCP FAQ. I believe there are even RPMs ready to install.

Why not look at the DHCP FAQ to see if somebody has already done the
work?
