Bill Arbaugh is in a better position to comment on this but IMO there is little that Etherboot needs in the way of dynamic IP configuration support, hence my conjecture that it ought to work fine with a DHCP server in bootp compatibility mode. However if you have some experience with this please post to the list. The address obtained by the boot ROM is only needed for the duration of the tftp load and doesn't even have to be the same as the one that the kernel obtains later.
