Some of Award BIOSes are really brain dead and refuses to obey you (I had a lot of problem with an old Asus and this brain dead BIOS.) even if you said exactly what hardware you have... My idea is find someone who have exactly the same motherboard with another BIOS (ami/mr bios/phoenix/...) and use a 27512 with your EEPROM programmer and make a copy [yes I know, we shouldn't make this, but we can make some choice about the software we use but not the BIOS, and also this Award BIOSes are really brain dead, trust me !]... /Xavier -- Xavier Beaudouin - Network Administrator and Consultant Phone/Fax/Linux Box (8N1) : +33 1 4734 3366 Cellular Phone : +33 6 6026 5108 Home Page : http://www.oav.net Emails : kiwi@oav.net, kiwi@kazar.com, kiwi@worldnet.net -- Arbitrary systems, pl.n.: Systems about which nothing general can be said, save "nothing general can be said."
