Hi, I tried to netboot a 3C905B with netboot 0.7.3 and got this far: Booting the disk image works fine. Booting from EPROM works up to "Uncompressing ..." but no further. I used the packet driver from the 3Com driver disk (EtherDisk 3.01, I think). The NIC was configured to contain a 64k (the smallest size the configuration utility would allow, the compressed rom image is 32k) EPROM at 0xCC000. I tried other base addresses but without success. Curious enough, the configuration utility from said driver disk could not find the NIC in our PCs, although it found the same card in other PCs (haven't got the main board type ready, sorry. Contains Elsa Winner2000/Office graphics card and nothing else beside the NIC). I got a newer driver collection from 3Com support, containing a configuration utility which found and configured the NIC even in our PCs. The new software does not include a packet driver, so I suppose there is not much point in hoping for a revised edition. Suggestions?
