bootrom not detected

Hi,

 i burnt the file image.hex (build by make bootrom) into a EPROM
(AT29C512);
then i put it on a network card: intel etherexpress16 and after 
configuring the network card and enabling bootROM, the bootROM
is not detected.
Do you have any idea?
