Hello, I'm currently faced with little odd situation at hand. I've been using Netboot 0.8.1 successfully for sometime now up until i installed this fibre channel host bus adapter in to my system. The fibre channel host bus adapter also has the on-board BIOS and for whatever reason, if this host bus adapter board is installed with the network adapter board (for the test, i'm using Realtek 8019 board) with Netboot 0.8.1 in the same system, the Netboot kernel *never* starts. As if, the Netboot kernel is being completely bypassed during the system bootstrap of calling all the installed BIOS extension codes. Is there some known cause for having Netboot kernel bypassed during system bootstrap? Can an ill-behaved third-party BIOS code allow other BIOS code to be completely bypassed in calling by the system BIOS? Form what i see, the fibre channel host bus adapter BIOS gets called first by the system BIOS and i would expect Netboot to start next. Come to think about it, this also happens with the SCSI host bus adapter BIOS installed in the same system. Maybe this has to do with C: drive present in the system as bootable drive? Maybe i can use the Netboot's rom check utility to tell me what's going on in the system with the fibre channel host bus adapter BIOS installed.
