Just wanted to let you know that i'm having very difficult time getting an add-on PCI network adapter board that's using Realtek's 8139A chip. The system board that i was mentioning and offered to send it to you uses 10BaseT connector which it has right on the system board. I can offer to send you a hub that has both 10BaseT and 10Base2. I would really like to start using your 0.9.0 version since i'm *very* ancious to start developing using the new PXE support. I'm in need of adding a minimal UDP/IP support to my application with support for TFTP client and your 0.9.0 version seem to provide such environment. Just say the word and the hub and system board will be sent to you. However i'll also try to look further into getting add-on PCI LAN card using Realtek 8139A. I need to start doing more testing using 0.9.0d with 8019 and 8029 since last time i left the testing of 0.9.0d, i was heaving problem with *even* 8019 and 8029. I'll have more information here soon. Does your network adapter board in Linux box only has 10Base2 connector? Looks like you can only interconnect the client(s) to your Linux PC using only 10Base2. >> PSS. I'm currently having some problem generating ramdisk image from Windows 95 boot floppy using my version of mknbi-dos that i have ported from Linux to DOS (mknbi-dos4msdos). The version is from 0.7.3. It seems the mknbi-dos4msdos generated ramdisk image from same Windows 95 boot floppy will not work however if i generate the ramdisk image using mknbi-dos from Linux environment (i have used "-f" option for both mknbi-dos4msdos and mknbi-dos), the generated ramdisk image works. Anyways, i'm currently trying to analyze the mknbi-dos code to see what the difference would be between running it under Linux and DJGPP ported version. Upto know i've only used mknbi-dos4msdos to generate RAM disk image for DOS boot floppy and DOS boot directory. If you could maybe offer some suggestion as to what i should look for in mknbi-dos that may cause difference in generating ramdisk image from Windows 95 boot floppy, i would really appreciate it. At least i can successfully generate ramdisk image for Windows 95 boot floppy under Linux. There must be some compatibility difference between that part of code running under Linux and DOS using DJGPP recompiled. PS. Once again, i'm trying to port the 0.8.1 version of mknbi-dos to DOS platform using the same successful method i used to 0.7.2 and 0.7.3. However there seem to be a call to function called "nbmalloc()" which is not provided in DJGPP platform. Previous to 0.8.1, "nbmalloc()" has not been used. Is there somewhere i can find the implementation of "nbmalloc()" or can i replace the "nbmalloc()" with "mymalloc()" of 0.7.3 version?
