We are trying to set up a diskcless client using netboot. The boot image got burned into a 32 kB-EPROM and plugged into a D-Link DE-528CT NIC. The bootrom was activated under DOS using D-Link's setup tool, and its size was set to 32 kB. The strange thing is that only 4 kB are mapped into the ROM area (at C800:0000, verified with 'romcheck'). The 'i' option of romcheck for this ROM gives the desired information (i.e. netboot 0.9, ...), but the 'n' option says there is no netboot image to be found. (The EPROM got properly written, since it showed 16 kB on an older NIC which probably supports no more than 16 kB.) Any ideas what's going wrong?
