Hi! After some trial & error I got Etherboot to work with my rtl8139 card. >From disk. After some research I got the right eproms and a burner, found how to enable the rom and so on, but this dammed thing now thinks, it has mac address ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff when the bootrom is on chard! That is not all: if I configure my dhcpd to deliver to this mac address, the computer just reboots. BTW: If I use a 4.0 bootimage, the card sends the right mac. But then the card driver hangs (seems to be a known bug in 4.0). *sigh* Anyone else, who has this problem? Anyone out there, who has an eprom erazer?
