Incorrect. I never did this with etherboot and netboot. And: the kernel will be called with parameters and you can adjust kernel-behavior with mknbi-linux, I think. Ciao, Rob PS: To enable root-nfs with 2.0.36, dont forget to build in the nic-driver (no module). I can tell you exactly how to enable root-nfs with 2.0.34 - I have no 2.0.36 around...
