I tried several settings within the pci bios, disabled >interupts for sound, hdd etc. but no effect. I used two different boards, >a chaintech with Intel-EX and an asus with Intel-LX ... It's probably the RTL8139 driver hitting the limits of the 32kB area and experiencing memory corruption problems. Try building it with no extra options at all. (No, I don't see any obvious way to decrease the footprint of the RTL8139 driver, it requires large buffers and at least a certain number of them.) =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Ken Yap <ken@nlc.net.au> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
