Very straight forward. I ordered a boot-rom from linksys and looked at the number. (27c010). I only bought the linksys-bootrom because I wanted the number. That piece of info cost me $14. At first sales told me that they didn't sell bootroms...really didn't have a clue. Don't expect much help from them :-( I then bought 2 blank EPROMS and took them home. I used the packet driver from the linksys-website and used the debian-netboot package. made an image and first tried it with a floppy. I had to fiddle around a little to get tftp to work. I think you need to set the directories you want to export in the tftp-line in inetd. Then I burnt the EPROM and it worked the first time. :-) Larry =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Larry Winiarski <cuttedg2@teleport.com> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
