>Now I read on the list that I can use modules (thanks Marty), which is very >good news, and probably worth pointing out in a HOWTO somewhere. It's not so hard to summarise the key characteristics of diskless booting: the only thing noteworthy about a diskless boot is the means of obtaining a network identity, loading the OS and of mounting a NFSroot (even that is optional, you could elect to run off ramdisk). You can even (horrors) mount a disked FS or disked swap partition once booted. =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Ken Yap <ken@nlc.net.au> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
