Usually a DOS config program is need to ænable the ROM and to choose the
ROM size. Certainly the data sheet for the via-rhine indicates there
are programmable bits in the config EEPROM. Have you tried looking at
Dlink's site or maybe Viatech's site? Didn't your NIC come with a floppy
full of drivers and utilities?
