There seems to be no conversation between the server and client after a "rx poll_error status 0001" But I dont get always this message, it fairly irregular. I checked the machine, it was a consevatively running AMD-K6 233. If I remove the TP-cable and plug it in again, the machine boots regularly. This doesn't work if the cable is connected and machine was in <sleep> modus awhile... Then I get the next strange effect: (independently of the other problem) The machine gets its IP config, then tries to get its bootimage ... If the machine doesn't get the image promptly delivered, it <sleep>'s but will do not boot until next restart. If I press the ESC button I get the dhcp-answer printed again, but it could not get the bootimage... If it gets the bootimage fast enough, the terminal boots. If I start a set of 20 terminals at the same time about 5 do not start without user interaction because of the problems described above.
