Not sure what you need in terms of "etherboot project / tftp and so on", Stephan. There is code (commercially) available from Bootix that support the 3c905c, in addition to ours. However, our code on the MBA ROM should be sufficient, - we have successfully booted in to at least 5 differernt Linux kernals, including SuSE, with what we ship on the MBA. Hi all! I read the discussion about the 3c905c-tx-m. We´ve here about 30 PCs with this cards and i want to set up a discless-pc-pool based on ltsp. (i know, that the intel etherexpress pro 100+ will work with etherboot). It would be very interesting, if 3com could ship a mba with support for the etherboot project/ tftp and so on... At this time the only message i get (if i try to boot via bootp/tftp) is: ------------------ Node: 0050<and_so_on> BOOTP. TFTP......................... ------------------ After that the pc stops. The only information on the bootp/tftp server is: ------------------ Feb 24 18:34:49 lis3 in.tftpd[20239]: connect from 193.197.133.103 ------------------ I´m using tftpd.c,v 1.4 1999/09/26 bootpd version 2.4.3 (based on a SuSE-6.3 distribution) The 3com card has the MBA version 4.00 Is there an other boot agent for this card available to flash the mba?
