Re: PXE

Ugh, ive answered this question so many times....

PXE proms will boot ANY OS.  PLease see --> http://cuiwww.unige.ch/info/pc/remote-boot/howto.html

The process is like this:  PXE --> DHCP --> TFTP --> BpBatch --> ANY OS

BpBatch is a piece of software which acts as a intermediate loader for any OS, please see the docs on the above link on where to get the software and how to set it up

Happy Hacking..

Well... The problem is that I can't find anything that direct.
Nothing that loads under PXE (so far) will load FreeBSD.  That
document was the closest I've see so far.  It wants you to:

PXE --> syslinux --> DOS --> etherboot.com --> FreeBSD

(aparently syslinux can load DOS .com files)

It is by Linux alone I set my machine in motion.
      It is by the open source alone that kernel acquires speed,
       the modules acquire patches.
      The patches become a new release.
