ONLY a file made from a >directory works without problems. Have i overseen something or is 1.0 >incapable of making dos-boot-files from a directory. I have decided not to support this feature in my mknbi-dos for various reasons: + It's just as easy to do it with mtools and the technique explained in the man page that builds a "floppy" image in a file. Use mcopy -/ to copy a directory tree onto the "floppy" image. And you can make a "floppy" of any size. + The boot sector provided with netboot-0.8.1 wasn't suitable for all DOSes or even versions. With the new method, you have to provide the boot sector yourself, so you take all the blame if it doesn't boot. :-) =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Ken Yap <ken@nlc.net.au> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
