#include <hallo.h> Today i tried booting without tftp but with NFS. After removing (begin at line 318 in nfs.c) if (fname < dirname) { printf("can't parse file name %s\n", name); return 0; } it worked. I(!!) can't see anything usefull in this if. It only prevented me from booting with nfs. (I can't provide the exact bootptab. As i did this at work.) - bootptab - kenmex2:\ :vm=auto:\ :T128=E44574680000:\ :T184="ESC[31m":\ :T185="ÉIIIIIIIIII»":\ :T186="º Bootmenu º":\ :T187="º vendor º":\ :T188="º º":\ :T189="EIIIIIIIIII¼":\ :T190="ESC[37m":\ :T160="timeout=30:default=193:":\ :T192="ESC[32mLinux 2.2ESC[37m:::/tftpboot/vmlinuz.kenmex::":\ :T193="ESC[33mTestprogrammESC[37m:::/tftpboot/schlecker":\ :hd=:\ :ht=ethernet:\ :sm=255.255.255.0:\ :ef=/tftpboot/extension.bootp:\ :hn:to=36000:ha=00504d007988:ip=192.168.10.12 - end - P.S. At work the "ESC"s are converted. :-) Bis denn -- Real Programmers consider "what you see is what you get" to be just as bad a concept in Text Editors as it is in women. No, the Real Programmer wants a "you asked for it, you got it" text editor -- complicated, cryptic, powerful, unforgiving, dangerous. =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Matthias Schniedermeyer <ms@citd.de> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
