My bootptab file contains: blue.localdomain:\ # :td=/tftpboot:\ :bf=/tftpboot/vmlinuz:\ :ip=192.168.2.26:\ :ht=ethernet:\ :ha=001083fc3427:\ :sa=192.168.2.27:\ :sm=255.255.255.0:\ :bs=true: king.localdomain:\ :td=/tftpboot:\ :bf=vmlinuz:\ :ip=192.168.2.27:\ :ht=ethernet:\ :ha=001083FC3463:\ :sa=192.168.2.27:\ :sm=255.255.255.0:\ :bs=true: I tried the "bs=true" hoping to eliminate the "record too large" error. I get the message w/ and w/o the bs parameter. bootptest shows: [root@king /scratch]# bootptest -h king bootptest: version 2.4.3 Sending to 192.168.2.27 (request) xid:2450 vend-rfc1395 Recvd from 192.168.2.27 (reply) xid:2450 Y:192.168.2.27 S:192.168.2.27 sname:"king" file:"/vmlinuz" vend-rfc1395 SM:255.255.255.0 BFS:0 Any help would be apreciated.
