The "tcpdump" on the server shows something like: icmp: host:domain udp port tftp unreachable [tos 0xc0] I am attaching as txt all the "tcpdump" dialog. I want to mention that the both the "tftp" in "services" and "tftpd" in "inetd.conf" are enabled. In fact, before changing "tftp" the NFS-root worked perfectly. Does this "tftp" need any special service to be activated? I downloaded the RFC1700 and looked at the 192 service (from that tos 0xc0 thing): osu-nms 192/udp OSU Network Monitoring System For me, it doesn't seem to relate to "tftp". This is where my ideas ended and I decided to bother the lists again.
