I also encoutered problems running DOS stuff while the diskette image is in memory, and guessed its memory being overwritten was the problem -After boot-up set path & comspec to some network drive , containing command.com -rmrd.com However , in your case , you still have to load the ASPI&CD drivers. I remember a might be able to do this ! Don't know filename though but it enabled loading config.sys drivers from command prompt, and I once tested it on some cddriver.sys ACS ----- Original Message ----- From: Niki Rosenmayr <n.rosenmayr@advance.at> To: <netboot@baghira.han.de> Sent: Wednesday, December 20, 2000 21:39 Subject: Access local drives for Dos 6.22 > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > > Hi, > > I 'm sucessfully using netboot on a 3Com 3c905c to start MS-DOS 6.22. > All necessary drivers for the network card are being loaded. > Everything works quite fine, EXCEPT of the access of local drives and > CD-ROMS. > > intended use > - ------------ > The machine is heavily used for software-development and > software-testing.
