Thanks Steve, I just tested the Intel CA810E motherboard with a new 3Com 3C905C-TX-M and its option ROM is detected and executes. I also tested with an Intel PRO/100+ card and it also works. (both cards attempted PXE booting). It appears Etherboot 4.6.12 does not produce ROM code that is detected with this Intel motherboard. As I mentioned previously, Etherboot does work with an older Intel motherboard (the SE440BX2). Does anyone have an idea how Etherboot code might differ from 3Com/LanWorks or Intel code? I'm guessing that it is scanning for some markers in the ROM that it does not find. I am not sure what those might be. Thanks for any and all assistance and suggestions.
