Hello,
I am trying to use BOOTP. With etherboot-4.6.2
I created a floppy with the command:
cat floppyload.bin bin32/eepro100.lzrom > /dev/fd0
This floppy worked GREAT. The system came up with
the message:
Searching for server (BOOTP)
However, with etherboot-4.7.20, the file floppyload.bin
was not created. I tried to create a floppy with:
cat bin/boot1a.bin bin32/eepro100.lzrom > dev/fd0
But when I boot with this floppy, the system
comes up with:
Searching for server (DHCP)
                      ^^^^
And then my network boot fails with:
BOOTP record too large.
Is there a way I can use etherboot-4.7.20 and
create a floppy which tries BOOTP instead of DHCP?
Thanks in advance,
Joe Griffin
