Hello, I've just released the new version 0.9.6 of netboot. It does not contain any new features, but quite a couple of bug fixes. Especially, it fixes two problems both caused by buggy network drivers. One involves an NDIS2 driver from Xircom reporting an invalid upper boundary interface, and the other involving the RTL-8139 packet driver from Realtek, which under certain conditions turns off the transmitter and receiver, and never turns them on again, so no active communication is possible. The new netboot version contains workarounds for these two bugs, among some other minor bug fixes. gero. -- Gero Kuhlmann, Hannover 0511/6497525 (Voice) gero@gkminix.han.de gero.kuhlmann@arcormail.de =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Gero Kuhlmann <gero@gkminix.han.de> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
