There are many things that can go wrong at this point:
- check whether you have "NFS Root Filesystem" enabled
- have you specified the proper location of the root filesystem on
the server in /etc/bootptab?
- in order to help you, an excerpt of the messages you get when
you start the diskless client is needed.
