Many thanks to Jim Hague for this one. Apparently there are two empty sections in the ELF file which cause older binutils to generate a binary starting at address 0. The solution is to tell objcopy to ignore them. So chuck out objcopy.sh and edit the last line of src-32/Config thusly. ------- Forwarded Message From: Jim Hague <hague@research.canon.com.au> Subject: OBJCOPY OK, I've tried 3c503 images generated with OBJCOPY= objcopy -O binary -R .note -R .comment on RH4.2 and RH5. Both work fine. - --- Jim Hague - hague@research.canon.com.au(Work),bears@cix.co.uk(Play) Canon Information Systems Research Australia +61 2 9805 2854 ------- End of Forwarded Message
