Are these numbers associated with valid > ROM chips? 27c64 is an 8kB EPROM, 27c512 is an 64kB EPROM. With Etherboot, you can probably get an image as small as 8kB, Netboot might require more space. Any image bigger than 32kB might cause problems (but using a bigger EPROM for a smaller image is usually no problem). What kind of ISA Ethernet card is that anyway? NE2000, WD80x3, ...? You usually need to set jumpers or run configuration software to configure the ROM socket for your EPROM size and the desired location in you computer's memory space. > Secondly, I've been considering having a batch of the Flashcard boards made > up professionally... would anyone be interested in this?
