I have problems in understanding the boot process of the kernel I was not able to mount the root nfs filesystem whithout activating the bootp support by the kernel (then it works perfekt, but I am not satisfied :-( ) Whithout bootp support the nfs-server could not be found. How does netboot pass the nfs- server address to the kernel ? In the bootptab you have no entry for the nfs-server address. Of course you could take the source of the bootp-answer. However it does not work.
