DC 21143 cards not working with 0.9.0d

I've been using netboot 0.8.1 successfully to floppy netboot some
machines with DC21143-based PCI cards.  Earlier versions of netboot
didn't work with these cards.

I just tried netboot 0.9.0d with those machines, and the boot image
fails right after initialization with the message "DOS ERROR: no free
mem".  This sounds to me like the same problem the pre-0.8.1 versions
had.

Has anyone got a suggestion for making this work?
