Count the Pins for the Boot-ROM: 28Pins --> 27C64, 27C128, 27C256, 27C512 (8,16,32,64K); 28C256(EEPROM, 32k) 32Pins --> 27C010, AT29C512, AT29C010 (128K, 64K 128K) > 3. What is a good EPROM burner? Where would I get one? I use GALEPIII. See www.conitec.de. There is no Linux support for this and there is nothing inside that thing, which looks familiar to me :-( > 4. Are there any EPROM burners that work from Linux? If anybody knows one, TELL ME! At the moment I don't know a burner, that runs under Linux. But in a few months, there will be one. ELV (www.elv.de) plans to develop a new universal programmer. I think, they are interested in programmers, who write a Linux-Version of the software. And there is at least me, who will do this job. I already wrote a Linux-Software for their EPROM-Simulator EPS1(See http://www.asterius.de/~marc). =========================================================================== This Mail was sent to netboot mailing list by: Marc Prager <mp@asterius.de> To get help about this list, send a mail with 'help' as the only string in it's body to majordomo@baghira.han.de.
