3Com / Lanworks Technologies will be (very soon) releasing their Virtual LAN
Drive product, which offers WIN9x diskless boot from an WINNT or WIN2K server
using PXE clients. The web site should go live after Feb. 1 / 2001....here's the

The company Serenity Systems can do the Win 98 and Win NT
diskless boot using their Wise Server software.

The boot server runs on IBMs Warp Server for e-Business
operating system (that's an OS/2 based product - BTW)
that uses RIPL boot technology.

There have been few discussions on USENET dealing with
diskless Win 95/98 boot. a search of deja.com should turn
them up.
